On 23 May 2021, Bodrum Cruise Port welcomed Viking Sea for crew embarkation and provisions. The Viking Cruises ship will be staying in Bodrum for 9 days to board its 278 crew in accordance with all the Safety & Health procedures.

The Viking Sea which arrived yesterday from Trieste will leave Bodrum on 31st May with its crew to go to Valletta Cruise Port in Malta.

Bodrum Cruise Port, with its strategic location and state of the art terminal, provides the cruise lines with ease of coordination to get ready for the season.

Thanks to the ease of air connectivity and as a Non-EU country the Turkish Visa regime for crew members provides a significant convenience to cruise lines for crew changes especially from Asia & Asia/Pacific region. Thanks to the Turkish Government’s prioritization of the Travel & Tourism industry for vaccination against the COVID-19, and the company-wide vaccination program, Bodrum Cruise Port is ready to welcome both passengers and crew for Transit and Turnaround operations.

With the certifications of “Safe Travels” from WTTC and the “Safe Tourism Certificate” from TUV Austria, Bodrum Cruise Port is in compliance of both local and international safety procedures.
